James Agyenim-Boateng has been appointed as the new Managing Director of SIC Insurance Company, replacing Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, whose tenure has been officially revoked.
The announcement, made on January 27, 2025, signals a leadership change at one of Ghana’s leading insurance providers.
Mr. Agyenim-Boateng, a lawyer, communications consultant, and seasoned media professional, brings extensive experience to the role.
A former Presidential Staffer at the Office of the Vice President from 2013 to January 2017, he is recognized for his expertise in governance and strategic communications. His appointment is expected to bring fresh leadership and innovative direction to SIC Insurance.
Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, also a lawyer and journalist, has a distinguished academic and professional background. A graduate of the University of Ghana with degrees in Law and Political Science, she also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Maryland’s Francis King Carey School of Law and a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
Her career spans law, media, and academia, leaving a legacy of professionalism and dedication during her tenure at SIC Insurance.
