The Director of Security Operations at the Presidency, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (Rtd) has denied allegations of instigating chaos at Terminals 2 and 3 of the Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
In a statement, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (Rtd) clarified that he had, in fact, intervened to prevent further disturbances caused by a “group of unruly individuals”.
The press release indicated that his intervention was to restored order and ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
The retired police officer, who served for over 30 years before his retirement in April 2023, reaffirmed his commitment to upholding law and order in his current role.
On January 24, a post on Facebook claimed that the retired police officer had instigated thugs to cause chaos at the VVIP lounge of the KIA.
