The Onua Foundation, in collaboration with the Melcom Care Foundation, has donated essential food items to the Osu and Teshie Children’s Homes in Accra.
The donation is aimed at addressing the nutritional needs of the children in these homes. Speaking at the event on January 2, Sam Francis, General Manager of Melcom Group, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting vulnerable groups.
“At Melcom Care Foundation, we believe in giving back to our community. This donation is a testament to our dedication to supporting those in need.”

“Our goal is to positively impact the lives of these children, and we are honored to be part of this effort,” he said.
The children’s home staff expressed their heartfelt gratitude, with social worker Priscilla Asare noting the significance of the donation.
Head of Onua Foundation Alhaji Issa Monnie said “together, we are providing nutritious meals to over 300 vulnerable children in Accra, ensuring they have the sustenance needed to grow and thrive”.
He explained that such initiative embodies the belief that every child deserves a chance to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
He said Onua Foundation and Melcom Care will continue working together to create a brighter, more equitable future for all.
