Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams has reached a remarkable milestone, marking 10 years with Spanish side Athletic Bilbao.
Williams, who progressed through Bilbao’s youth ranks, made his senior debut under Ernesto Valverde on December 6, 2014, in a league match against Cordoba.
Since making his debut, the forward has been a dependable source for the club, producing inspirational and clutch moments when called upon.
The Ghanaian has also been an embodiment of hardwork and consistency, with his 251 consecutive La Liga games – a record in the Spanish top flight, surpassing Juan Antonio Larranaga’s previous tally of 202 – underscoring his worth to his side.
Additionally, Inaki has made a great start to the 2024/25 La Liga season, providing seven goal contributions in 15 games.
On his special day, Inaki took to social media to express satisfaction and gratitude on his latest achievement.
“10 years fulfilling a dream. Remember where you started and where you are. Thank you all for joining me,” he wrote.
With 441 games, 105 goals, 61 assists and 2 trophies throughout his career, Inaki will aim to hit higher heights with his boyhood club.
