The Parliamentary Candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ing. Emmanuel Odai Laryea, has vowed to win the Krowor seat come Saturday December 7, for the NPP.
He says, he is determined to secure a very large majority of votes in the parliamentary election to become the next Krowor lawmaker.
On December 7, one constituency that promises to be of interest is the Krowor in the Greater Accra region.
The area, which is among the region’s oldest constituencies has been unpredictable as it swings between the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in every election year.
However, Ing. Odai Laryea, speaking to Onua News at the ongoing special voting exercise at Nungua District Police Headquarters was sure that he has won the people’s mandate in advance.
According to Ing. Laryea he will win the seat from the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey on Saturday December 7, with ease.
“I feel like I am only going for an endorsement rather than going into a competition, so you can see that I am relaxed because I have gone through the campaign, and everybody is happy with ‘engineer’. ‘Engineer’ is now a household name in Nungua and the same way as I said it is going to happen live and I am going to Parliament,” he touted on December 2.
He explained that even though he is not yet an MP, he has worked tirelessly to support and develop the area and that gives him the confidence of winning the seat.
