Ghanaian winger, Joseph Paintsil, has won the MLS Western Conference final with LA Galaxy following a 1-0 win against Seattle Sounders on Sunday.
Paintsil has been an integral part of the LA Galaxy squad this season and played a crucial role in the team’s success. His speed, skill, and work rate have made him a fan favourite at the Dignity Health Sports Park.
The 26-year-old winger has been brilliant for La Galaxy this season with impressive stats of 10 goals and seven assists in 29 appearances.
Paintsil adds this silverware to his trophy cabinet having already won the Belgian Jupilar Pro League and Belgian Super Cup with KRC Genk during his stint in the Belgian topflight league.
LA Galaxy will now channel their energy to the MLX Cup final, where they will face the Eastern Conference champions ( New York Red Bull ). Paintsil and his teammates will be looking to win the championship title and bring glory to the LA Galaxy franchise.
The MLS Cup final is scheduled for December 7.
