Black Galaxies head coach Mas-UD Didi Dramani has named a 32-man squad for Ghana’s pre-Championship of African Nations (CHAN) 2025 qualifiers training camp, ahead of the team’s crucial game against Nigeria.
The team faces Nigeria in a two-legged tie in December, as both sides vie for a qualifying spot at the forthcoming championship.
The players are expected to arrive at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence in Prampram on November 25 to begin camp.
However, due to the forthcoming general elections on December 7, the players will be handed a break from December 1-5 as Ghanaians take to the poll.
The team will then return to camp a day after the general elections to intensify their preparations before taking on Nigeria.
The Black Galxies is a composition of locally based players, with Didi Dramani’s squad for the upcoming game being headlined by Thought FC man Jerry Afriyie, Nation’s duo Faisal Charwetey and Razak Simpson, as well as Kotoko and Hearts goalkeepers Fredrick Asare and Benjamin Asare.
Ghana, who were knocked out of the last edition in the quarterfinal by Niger, will be aiming to go all the way in the tournament, which is expected to be hosted by Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.
