The newly nominated flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Philip Appiah Kubi also known as Roman Fada has submitted his forms to the Electoral Commission (EC) hoping to be cleared to contest for the upcoming elections.
Roman Fada was named the new Presidential Candidate of the party on November 4, 2024 following the death of Akua Donkor, a long-standing leader of the party.
He submitted the forms to the Commission on November 5, 2024.
Prior to Akua Donkor’s death, Philip was the Vice-Presidential candidate of the party.
The late Madam Akua Donkor passed away on Monday, October 28 at the Ridge hospital in Accra.
The news was confirmed by broadcast journalist Adakabre Frimpong Manso on TV3’s New Day show on Tuesday October 29.
