2nd Runner up of TV3’s Talented Kidz Season 15, Truth Ofori made a call to leaders of the country to fight the galamsey menace during the Tidal Rave concert on Saturday.
The 2024 edition of the Tidal Rave event took place on October 12, 2024 at the Labadi Beah Hotel in Accra. Among the many musicians performing was Black Sherif.
During Black Sherif’s performance, the artiste paused to allow Truth Ofori give a live performance of the patriotic “Y?n ara asase ni” song before he continued to sing his hit song ‘Wasteman’. This served as an indication to call on the leaders to fight the galamsey menace.
Excerpts of the patriotic song which translates “This is our homeland. It is priceless to us. Our forefathers gained it for us at the peril of their lives. It is the turn of you and I to continue the legacy,” was sung by Truth Ofori as a wake-up call to leaders of the country to end galamsey activities.
The young talented singer was further applauded by the crowd after her performance.
Stonebwoy also conveyed a strong message on galamsey to leaders with ‘Greedy Men’ perfromance.
The highlight of his performance was when he began to sing one of his patriotic song ‘Greedy Men’ to address illegal mining in the country.
Stonebwoy and his backing vocalist were all dressed in black attire, while another person was seeing waving the Ghana Flag behind the artiste as he performed.
