Ghanaian artiste and entertainment entrepreneur, D-Black has urged Ghanaians for vote in the upcoming elections to change the government.
The rapper in a new song, ‘SMH’ lamented the economic hardships in the country despite the country’s natural resources.
The ‘Enjoyment Minister’ encouraged Ghanaians not to fall for the numerous mere promises of politicians this time and wise up to vote for a change in government on December 7.
“Elections are coming again. Who are we choosing my friends. They promising things eheh, we ain’t falling for this again.
“When elephants fight, it’s the grass that suffers,” D-Black said.
“Our motherland has the potential to blow, our country is rich with cocoa and gold. So wetin dey happen to the promises made?” D-Black asked.
D-Black further expressed concern over the increasing unemployment among the youth in the country.
Touching on the recent protests, D-Black disapproved of the detention of the protesters saying “intelligent youth they are caging us. When issues are raised, they silence us and when we revolt, they jailing us.”
He called on Ghanaians to rise up and vote for the change. “The change we wanna see, be the people you wanna be.”
“If you have a conscience, hold your hand up. If you hurting inside, ball your fist up. If you love Ghana, make we wise up. On December 7, lift your thumbs up and vote,” he stressed.
