Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has admonished the people of Kunsu, Kintampo and Abase in the Kintampo North and Pru West constituencies of the Bono East Region to change their pattern of voting by choosing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December polls.
He appealed to stakeholders—chiefs, queen mothers, Zongo leaders, and various identifiable groups from Kunsu to Kintampo township, to place their trust in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by voting for him in large numbers.
NAPO emphasized that the NPP has consistently proven itself as a political party that governs with a commitment to cohesion and inclusion, irrespective of religious or other considerations. With Dr. Bawumia, he assured them, they will have a leader with the conviction to steer Ghana into its next phase of development.
According to Dr Prempeh, they have been voting for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), since 1992 but they have not brought any development to the people. He said the Akufo-Addo-led government has performed better in ensuring the growth and development of the constituency and the country at large than the NDC administration.
He appealed to the constituents to vote for the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Isaac Baffoe for Kintampo North and Stephen Jalula for Pru West.
