Residents of Wa are down to their marrows as they have yet again recorded the mysterious death of a driver’s mate.
The shocking incident saw the young driver’s mate, Richard Opoku’s motionless body lying with a deep throat cut near a warehouse at Dori, a suburb of Wa in the early hours of Monday, July 15.
According to TV3’s Upper West Regional Correspondent, Ibrahim Wangara, the bus conductor and the driver had arrived in Dori to offload some bags of salt to a client.
Upon arriving late at the client’s house on Sunday night, the driver and his conductor decided to sleep overnight and offload the bags of salt the next morning.
Ibrahim Wangara reports that the client offered for the driver and his mate to spend the night in a room at his residence and offload the bags of salt the following morning.
However, they both chose to spend a few hours on the verandah before retiring to bed.
The following morning, the driver of the trailer woke up searching for his conductor on;y to find traces of blood on the veranda leading to the deceased’s body being found behind the house.
Meanwhile, police have commenced investigations into the incident.
