Black Princesses head coach, Yussif Basigi has called thirty-five (35) players to resume camping in Cape Coast as the team prepares to participate in the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
The Black Princesses are making their seventh consecutive appearance at the biennial tournament.
Ghana are scheduled to open their campaign against Austria in their opening Group E game before playing New Zealand and Japan in the other group matches.
The players reported to camp in Cape Coast on Thursday, June 27, 2024, with the U-20 FIFA Women’s World Cup slated to kick start from August 31 to September 22, 2024.

The U20 side are hoping to build on their recent successes to break the jinx of reaching the knockout phase of the competition for the first time.
Yussif Basigi’s side won the U20 WAFU Girls Competition last year in Kumasi before leaving the team to win gold in the 2023 African Games in Accra.
Ahead of the World Cup, their focus and aim will be on how to go past the group stage and make history.
