Real Madrid’s confirmation of Mbappe’s signing comes just days after their triumphant 15th Champions League victory, defeating Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on Saturday evening.
Mbappe’s prolific scoring record at PSG speaks for itself, with 44 goals scored last season, marking his highest tally yet. Since joining PSG in 2017 from Monaco, initially on loan before securing a permanent deal worth €180 million (£153m) the following summer, Mbappe has amassed an impressive total of 256 goals in 308 matches.
During his tenure at Parc des Princes, Mbappe not only became the club’s record goalscorer but also clinched six Ligue 1 titles, along with four Coupe de France wins and two Coupe de la Ligue triumphs.
With Mbappe’s arrival at Real Madrid, the Spanish giants have further bolstered their attacking prowess, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in Mbappe’s illustrious career.
