Co-Chair Citizen’s Movement Against Corruption (Cmac) Edem Senanu, says the president’s refusal to release the full KPMG audit report into the controversial revenue mobilisation agreement between the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Strategic Mobilisation Ghana will not promote transparency and accountability.
Speaking to 3FM Midday News with Beatrice Adu, Edem Senanu noted the president can review his position on this matter, and if there are sensitive portions they can be redacted.
“In promoting good governance, transparency and accountability are key pillars. The President can review his position on this matter, and if there are sensitive portions they can be redacted.”
Senanu stated that the issues contained in GRA-SML DEAL are not issues of national security not to be released.
He contends that the refusal of the president to release the full report raises red flags and suspicion.
