The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah on Wednesday, June 28 visited flood-affected areas at Sanzule, Old Bakanta, Atuabo, and Salman in the Ellembele District to have an on-the-spot assessment of the devastating impact of the flood which was occasioned by the recent torrential rains.
He donated some relief items to cushion the residents affected by the flood in the predicament they are currently facing.
The Deputy Minority Leader also assured them that other vital assistance and support would be provided after a detailed assessment of the extent of damage is completed to help restore normalcy.
