We must unite with unhappy NPP members - Kwabena Boateng, Ejisu MP-elect

Kwabena Boateng, the Member of Parliament-elect for Ejisu, has clinched the by-election seat with a clear mandate and wasted no time in emphasizing the crucial need for party unity.

Boateng secured 27,782 votes, representing 55.8% of the total votes cast, edging out his closest rival, Independent Candidate Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, who garnered 21,534 votes, accounting for 43.3% of the ballots.

The by-election, prompted by the untimely passing of the revered Member of Parliament and Deputy Finance Minister, Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah, on March 7, 2024, thrust Boateng into the spotlight.
