Prestea–Huni Valley Assembly Undertakes Spot Improvements on Aboso Enclave Roads

The Prestea–Huni Valley Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for Prestea–Huni Valley Constituency, Robert Wisdom Cudjoe, has completed spot improvement works on several roads within the Aboso enclave in the Western Region.
According to the Municipal Chief Executive, Dr. Matthew Ayeh, the intervention forms part of efforts by the Assembly and the MP to address poor road conditions and ease transportation challenges faced by residents in the area.
The works, which were carried out with fuel support from the Member of Parliament, covered key stretches linking several communities, including Aboso–Nsueam–Atwebuanda–Wassa Nkran; Wassa Nkran–Asikuma–Tetteh Nkwanta–Auntie Abena; as well as Wassa Nkran–Tsentsenm and roads within the Bompieso township.
The Municipal Chief Executive noted that the fuel for the road works was provided by Mr. Cudjoe to help reduce the burden on residents who depend heavily on the roads for daily commuting and economic activities.
He explained that the completion of the spot improvement works is expected to make travel easier for motorists and residents while boosting economic activities in the beneficiary communities.

The MCE added that the initiative by the Assembly and the MP forms part of broader measures being implemented to improve the road network across communities in the municipality.
He further disclosed that the road maintenance exercise will continue in other parts of the municipality, indicating that the machinery used for the works would soon be moved to additional communities that require similar interventions.

The Assembly believes the initiative will contribute significantly to improving mobility and supporting local economic development within the municipality.
