Kumasi North branch of the Deeper Life Bible Church, has donated food items, Second hand Clothes and assorted drinks to the inmates of Kumasi Children Home.
The donation aims to help the inmates become responsible adults and citizens, contributing to the country’s economic development.
The church’s gesture is part of its efforts to care for the less privileged and needy in society.
Pastor Paul Boakye Yiadom, the Ashanti Regional Treasurer of the Church and Head Pastor of Deeper Life Bible Church, Kumasi North, explained that the church was committed to supporting vulnerable individuals, including those at the Children’s Home.
He emphasised that the inmates’ situation was not of their own making and required societal support to become productive citizens.
According to Pastor Boakye Yiadom, caring for the needy was a blessing and an opportunity to contribute to the development of the country and urged other churches, Civil Society Organisations and individuals to emulate the church’s example and prioritize supporting the less privileged.
Pastor Boakye Yiadom emphasised that vulnerable individuals should be treated as part of the community and supported to overcome their challenges.
