
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, last Friday teed off the 68th edition of the Telecel Asantehene Open Golf Championship at the Royal Golf Club in Kumasi.
The 68th Telecel Asantehene Open Golf Championship promises to be an exciting event, with talented golfers competing for the top prize.
The launching ceremony brought together traditional leaders, prominent business executives and golf enthusiasts.

Also in attendance were Sir Sam Jonah, a renowned Ghanaian business executive; Kwesi Atta Antwi, Chairman of the Royal Golf Club and Patricia Obo-Nai, CEO of Telecel Ghana.
Telecel Ghana has been a consistent supporter of the Asantehene Open Golf Championship as this year’s edition marks the eighth consecutive time of their sponsorship under the partnership with the Royal Golf Club.
The telecommunications company has thus been instrumental in promoting golf in Ghana and fostering a sense of community among golf enthusiasts making tournament a staple of Ghana’s sporting calendar, attracting top golfers from across the country and beyond.
