Ghanaian forward Samuel Obeng struck late to snatch a dramatic victory for Albacete Balompie in their Segunda Division clash with Las Palamas.
The former Ghana U23 star who came on with 13 minutes remaining became an instant hero after skillfully controlling a poorly cleared ball in the box before powerfully hitting it with his left foot.
The hosts were losing 1-0 when the Ghanaian came on, and in a dramatic finale to the match levelled through a penalty from Jefte Bentacor. This was after Las Palmas had taken a first half lead through Taisei Miyashiro.
The goal is his third of the season and first for Albacete since joining the club in the winter transfer window from AD Cueta.
Meanwhile, the victory lifts Albacete to 14th on the table after ending a run of five matches without a win.
Although, Obeng joined the club in January, he has become a key figure for the Spanish second tier outfit.
