Vision FC assistant coach Burton Asare Wilson has touted midfielder Meshack Sowah Adjetey for his qualities after inspiring the side to an all-important draw against Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.
The highly-rated midfielder was in action when the Eewo family held the Porcupine Warriors to a pulsating goalless draw at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Despite being reduced to10 men, Vision FC showcased resilience and determination to share the spoils with Kotoko in Kumasi. They impressed in the highly competitive clash, creating numerous chances but failing to find the back of the net.
At the post-match conference, Wilson Asare singled out the midfielder for praise, stressing he possesses 70% of the qualities needed in a footballer.
“Sowah is an intelligent player with great football brains. He possesses about 70% of the qualities you would want in a footballer. The only area he needs to improve is his physical strength, which is quite natural at this stage. Truth be told, Sowah is one of the finest players in the Ghana Premier League.” He said.
The draw leaves Vision FC in 10th place in the Ghana Premier League standings. Kotoko, on the other hand, maintain their fourth place on the log at the end of the matchday.
