Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has revealed that his squad has accepted full responsibility for recent setbacks as they prepare for a high-stakes Ghana Premier League encounter against Bibiani Gold Stars this Sunday.
Speaking to Hearts TV ahead of the Matchday 24 trip to Dun’s Park, Dramani noted that his players acknowledged their role in the team's inconsistent results.
"The players accepted that they take full responsibility of some of the outcomes of their games and they will improve," he stated.
This admission comes after a goalless draw with Berekum Chelsea that left the Phobians third in the standings, two points behind their upcoming opponents.
That was their tenth draw this season, the most in the Ghana Premier League.
Just weeks ago, Dramani famously defended the profession by insisting that coaches do not control the outcomes of games.
During the resignation of former Asante Kotoko boss Karim Zito, Dramani argued that while coaches are responsible for performance and behavior, the ultimate result often hinges on split-second player decisions beyond their reach.
As Hearts of Oak gears up for what he describes as a "very tight" match, Dramani welcomed the return of key players including forward Hamza Issah, and Emmanuel Amankwa.
