Top football officials and scouts around the world have assembled in Ghana for Club Consult Africa's elite youth football tournament.
The competition organised to uncover new talents began on Monday, January 5 at the Union Park, University of Ghana, Legon, with some interesting fixtures.
Eight youth teams from across Ghana, featuring over 120 talented players aged between 16 and 21 will compete for the chance to be spotted by top agents.
What sets this tournament apart is the confirmed attendance of renowned global scouts and FIFA officials, who will be evaluating players and engaging with participants throughout the competition. This level of international attention underscores Ghana’s growing reputation as a hub for youth football development.
The CCA Elite Scouting Tournament 2026 aims to bridge the gap between grassroots talent and professional opportunities on the global stage. For many of these young players, the tournament could serve as a launching pad for international careers in football.
Club Consult Africa Limited has extended invitations to media houses across print, broadcast and digital platforms to provide comprehensive coverage of the event. The organisation emphasises that media attention will not only highlight individual talent but also reinforce Ghana’s position as a breeding ground for world-class football players.
Beyond talent identification, the tournament is expected to inspire young athletes across Ghana and promote sports culture within local communities. The presence of FIFA officials and international scouts sends a powerful message to aspiring footballers about the opportunities available through dedication and skill development.
