Tottenham Hotspur winger Mohammed Kudus is confident he will be fit for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Manchester United after missing the midweek Champions League win over Copenhagen.
The Ghana international was sidelined with a minor knock but offered an encouraging update on his recovery following Spurs’ 4-0 victory on Tuesday night.
"It’s getting better, yes," Kudus told reporters when asked about his availability for the weekend fixture.
Kudus has been instrumental for Tottenham since joining from West Ham United in the summer, quickly becoming one of the team’s most influential players.
His pace, directness and creativity have added a new dimension to Spurs’ attack, making his fitness a major boost for Thomas Frank’s side.
In his absence, Brennan Johnson started and scored against Copenhagen before being sent off late in the game. Spurs will hope Kudus is ready to step straight back in as they look to return to winning ways in the Premier League following the derby defeat to Chelsea last weekend.
All eyes will be on whether Kudus features when Manchester United visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening.
