Ghana striker Brandon Thomas Asante scored his tenth league goal of the season to inspire Coventry City back to winning ways and extend their advantage at the top of the English Championship table.
Thomas Asante struck late in injury time as Frank Lampard's team defeated Sheffield United 3-1 at Coventry Building Society Arena.
The visitors broke the deadlock after Sam MacCalum scored in the 25th minute, putting pressure on Coventry who had lost their first game of the season against Wrexham at the weekend.
However, the league leaders bounced back after the break with Tatsuhiro Sakamoto netting the leveller in the 49th minute, finsinhing off a brilliant assist from Bobby Thomas.
Thomas went from provider to scorer, giving the hosts the lead on the hour mark.
Deep in extra time, Thomas Asante then sealed victory for Coventry, rolling the ball home from a Hajj Wright assist.
The Ghanaian attacker has now reached double figures in the league, making him Ghana's most prolific scorer in Europe this season.
