Bechem United head coach Desmond-Issah Botchway has expressed his disappointment with his team’s stalemate against Nations FC in the Ghana Premier League.
The coach and his Hunters hosted the Week 8 opponent in the 2025/26 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign on Friday, hoping to secure all three points.
Despite his team dominating the contest, they could not find the back of the net and had to settle for a point at full-time.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Desmond-Issah Botchway expressed his disappointment with the result, bemoaning his team's decision-making in attack.
“They were so defensive that we were making a lot of mistakes. Our decision-making was not there. I’m a little bit disappointed,” the coach said.
He added, “Our final decision has been a problem for us. At the end of the game, if you don’t score, it’s a problem.”
Following the draw with Nations FC, Bechem United remain 14th in the Ghana Premier League table and could drop further down depending on results from other games set to be played on Saturday and Sunday.
