Newly appointed Nations FC head coach Frimpong Manso is optimistic about transforming the club’s fortunes in the Ghana Premier League.
After seven matches in the 2025/26 campaign, the Abrankese-based side sits 12th on the league table with eight points, having secured two wins, two draws, and three defeats.
Despite the team’s inconsistent start, Manso remains confident that his arrival will mark the beginning of a turnaround.
“For me, I think we’ve seen a lot of things here, and we believe we can work to improve the team,” Manso said. “We’ve come to do our part and ensure that, from where the team currently stands, we make a significant impact.”
The former Ghana international also highlighted his concern over the team’s inability to score in away matches.
“In away games, we’ve played three without a goal, and that’s an area we must work on,” he added.
Manso will be looking to start his tenure on a winning note when Nations FC travel to Bechem to face Bechem United in their Matchday 8 fixture at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Friday, October 31.
