Head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has indicated that he is determined to keep the team at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings.
The gaffer and his team currently lead the league table following their 1-0 victory over Swedru All Blacks over the weekend.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Ibrahim Tanko stressed that his team is keen on doing everything to defend their position on the league table.
“We are going there to defend our position on the table. We are leading the league table, so we have to prepare very well and take something from the game. That’s what we are going to do,” Ibrahim Tanko said.
Medeama top the league table with 16 points, one ahead of Aduana FC in second and two more than Heart of Lions in third place.
Up next for Medeama SC, the team will take on Hohoe United in their Week 8 clash of the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
