The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Namibian referee Antsino Ndemugwanitha Twanyanyukwa to officiate the crucial Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2026 qualifier between Ghana’s Black Queens and Egypt on Tuesday.
The match will kick off at 3:30 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Twanyanyukwa will be supported by Zambian assistants Diana Chikotesha and Nancy Kasitu, who will serve as Assistant Referee I and II, respectively. Completing the officiating team is fellow Namibian Nuusiku Vistoria Shangula, who will act as the Fourth Official.
The Match Commissioner for the fixture is Nigeria’s Chisom Adaobi Ezeoke, while Tesfanesh Woreta Haitu from Ethiopia has been appointed as the Referee Assessor.
The encounter promises to be an intense one, as Egypt will be seeking redemption after a 3â0 home defeat in Ismailia last Thursday. The Black Queens, holding a strong advantage, will aim to complete the double in Accra and secure their qualification for the next stage of the 2026 WAFCON.
