Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara has urged the club to make a bold move for Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, saying the Ghanaian would be the perfect attacking partner for compatriot Mohammed Kudus in north London.
Semenyo has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season, registering six goals and three assistsâsecond only to Erling Haaland in total goal involvements.
His form has reignited interest from top clubs, despite signing a new Bournemouth contract after turning down approaches from Manchester United and Tottenham last summer.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes, who originally signed Semenyo for Bournemouth from Bristol City in 2023, is also known to be a strong admirer.
The Cherries reportedly value the 25-year-old at over £75 million following his explosive start to the campaign.
Speaking on talkSPORT, O’Hara said Tottenham should capitalise on their recent £100 million investment from majority shareholders ENIC to strengthen the squad.
“I’d love him at Spurs. I think they should go all out for him,” O’Hara said.
“Spurs is an amazing club for himâa massive football club, a brilliant stadium, and amazing facilities.”
However, his co-host, former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor, questioned whether Tottenham’s current ambitions would be enough for the in-form Ghanaian, saying: “He can do better than Spurs.”
