Former Asante Kotoko striker Frank Osei has shared his thoughts ahead of the Porcupine Warriors’ CAF Champions League clash against Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club (WAC), urging the players to be fully prepared for a difficult battle.
"Kotoko and WAC is a tough match they are not easy like that they are a team or country whose football style is different. If we are going to meet them it is not easy like that it is very hard. If you look at how they came here to collect the cup from us this time around the boys should prepare well," he told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com.
Kotoko will play Wydad on Sunday, October 19, at the Accra Sports Stadium after CAF declined to approve the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Tickets for the highly anticipated match are priced at GHS 50 for the Popular Stand and Centre Line, and GHS 200 for VIP seats. Kotoko remain unbeaten this season after defeating Kwara United 5â3 on aggregate, but Wydad’s pedigree will be a major challenge.
