Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana has disclosed the difference between playing in the English Premier League and the Italian Serie A.
Sulemana sealed a summer transfer move to join Atalanta from relegated Southampton.
The 23-year-old is having a fast to life at the Bergamo outfit after a torrid two-and-a-half year spell in England with the Saints.
"Serie A is a top-level league, very tactical, which forces you to stay focused throughout each match. The Premier League has shaped me physically, first and foremost; it's an intense championship," he told Gazzetta.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate has already netted two goals in six Italian Serie A matches and according to the forward, Atalanta manager, Ivan Juric, brings the best out of him.
"He's the perfect coach for me, tactically and technically. He gave me his trust right away when I arrived at Southampton. He's a mentor to me, he helps me find the right position on the pitch, both offensively and defensively. He's the teacher, and I'm the student: I trust him and I always want to do better," said the Ghanaian.
Sulemana returned to Italy this week after helping the Black Stars qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
