The 22-year-old made the ten-woman shortlist following her outstanding performance at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The Al Hilal Women's shot-stopper will face competition from Nigeria and Brighton's Chiamaka Nnadozie, South Africa's Andile Dlamini, Algeria and Marseille's Chloe N'gazi, Habiba Emad of Egypt and DR Congo's Fedeline Ngoy.
Also on the shortlist are Botswana's Sedilame Boseja, Fatoumata Karentao of Mali, Morocco's Khadija Er-Amichi and Adji Ndiaye of Senegal.
Konlan will be hoping to make the final shortlist for the award as CAF announces the date for the gala in the coming days.
