Charles Kwabla Akonnor lost his first competitive match in-charge of Gor Mahia after Sunday’s 1-0 reverse at home to Bidco United in the Kenyan Premier League.

Akonnor said in his post-match speech: ''The general assessment was positive, how we controlled the game. What we lack is the opportunity to score goals.
''When you are in the game of football and you’re not able to create chances then that’s a big problem but we are able to create the chances-What we need now is the moment of magic where we’ll score goals.
''We need to have a composure in the final third and do our best to get the necessary goals.''
