Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito has hinted that his side will have a plan to frustrate Kwara United in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Ghana FA Cup champions recorded a thrilling 4-3 win over the Nigerian side in the first leg of the preliminary round of games on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Albert Amoah netting a brace as Emmanuel Antwi and Joseph Ablorh all scored for the home side.
Ahead of the return leg at the M.K.O. Abiola International Stadium, Zito, speaking to the press, praised his side for the thrilling win but hinted that they will draw a plan to ensure they score and frustrate Kwara United in their backyard.
“At the end of the day, nobody thought we could even score two or three goals," Zito said after the game.
"What makes me a little happy is that we won by four goals to three. Now I will plan how to go there and try to do what they came here to do,” he added.
The winner of the tie will face Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club in the next round of the preliminary round of games.
