Assistant coach of Young Apostles, Hussein Abubakar, has hailed his players’ resilience after they came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw against Hohoe United on Matchday 2 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
The Apostles travelled to the Hohoe Stadium on Sunday, where the hosts broke the deadlock shortly after the restart through Abbas Ganiu.
However, Richmond Opoku restored parity for the visitors with a well-taken finish.
Reflecting on the game, Abubakar credited a tactical adjustment for sparking the comeback.
“I said we were not going to leave here without a point," Abubakar said after the game.
"So, when we conceded, I made a tactical switch in attack, and that helped us to score. I’m happy with the result," he added.
Young Apostles, who are still searching for their first win of the campaign, will host Dreams FC in their Matchday 3 clash this weekend.
