Bechem United goalkeeper Benjamin Asiedu is optimistic the team will secure a positive result from their opening 2025/26 Ghana Premier League fixture against Gold Stars.
The Hunters will travel to Bibiani this weekend to take on the defending champions in what promises to be a tough encounter.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Benjamin Asiedu assured Bechem United fans that the team has prepared well for the game and will fight for at least a point.
“We have worked very hard in pre-season. We have talked amongst ourselves, and we want to have a good start to the season. Playing at Duns Park won’t be easy. But based on our preparations, I think we are on course to earn all three points or at least a point from the game,” the Bechem United goalkeeper told Bechem United TV.
The clash between Bibiani Gold Stars and Bechem United will be played on Saturday, September 13.
The showdown is scheduled to kick off at 7 pm at Duns Park.
