New head coach of Bechem United, Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway, is aiming for a winning start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The coach has been training with his players for a while and believes they are ready for the challenge ahead.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of Bechem United’s opening fixture against Gold Stars, Coach Stephen Desmond-Issah Botchway said the plan is to fight for all three points.
“Every coach has his first game, so it’s not new now. We always meet in these first games. The only thing is to plan and prepare well to make sure you come out victorious,” the coach told Bechem United TV.
The new Ghana Premier League campaign will officially be launched on Friday, September 12.
The first fixture for Round 1 will be played between Hearts of Oak and newly promoted side Hohoe United tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Then on Saturday, Berekum Chelsea will host Asante Kotoko at Golden City Park while Gold Stars welcome Bechem United at Duns Park.
