Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani says his side will not underrate Ghana Premier League debutants Hohoe United when the two teams clash in the opening game of the 2025/26 season on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians head into the contest in high spirits after winning two pre-season trophies, including the Democracy Cup, and finishing unbeaten in the GHALCA Top Four.
But Dramani insists that his team must approach the encounter with caution.
“This is going to be a very tough encounter, very uncompromising, so we need to respect what they bring with their direct football,” he told Hearts TV. “We will try to win the spaces and bring our identity to play in this encounter.”
Hearts finished fourth last season before Dramani was appointed head coach.
