
Budding Ghanaian talents Prince Amoako Jr and Douglas Owusu have been named in the top ten list of best U20 forwards plying their trades out of Europe's top five leagues.
Amoako Jr, who plays for FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark, only started his professional career this season and has been hogging the headlines in the Superliga.
Meanwhile, Owusu helped Radnicki Surdulica achieve promotion to the Serbian topflight league last season and has since been a key figure following their return to the top-tier.
According to CIES Football Observatory, the Ghanaian duo are part of the top ten football forwards under 20 playing outside the bigger leagues. Amoako Jr rated 69.5 places fourth on the list while Owusu with a mark of 67.4 sits at ninth position.
Amoako Jr recently received nomination for Young Player of the Month award in Denmark following a fast start to the league, with three goals and an assist in five matches. He has been a regular for the Wild Tigers since making his debut in July.
Owusu has made seven league appearances for Radnicki Surdulica in the new season.
