Rwanda-based midfielder Richmond Lamptey has sealed a one-year deal with Libyan side Al Ittihad Misurata SC.
The deal is reported to be in the region of US$ 50,000.
Lamptey- a member of Ghana’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations squad, leaves Rwandan giants APR (Armée Patriotique Rwandaise) after just one season.
Lamptey, formerly of Asante Kotoko, failed to glitter for APR where he managed to play only eight league games last season without a goal or assist.
''Thank you, Lamptey Richmond. We appreciate your time, effort, and commitment to APR FC. Best of luck on your next journey,'' APR confirmed his transfer in a statement:
Lamptey arrived in Kigali in June 2024 in a reported US$ 150,000 two-year deal from Asante Kotoko.
He is currently traveling from Dar es Salaam to Kigali where APR featured in the Kagame Cup.
