Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has reacted to the loan transfer of Moroccan midfielder Bilal El Khannouss from Leicester City to VfB Stuttgart.
El Khannouss joined the German Bundesliga club on loan from the English Championship outfit with an option for a permanent deal on Monday, September 1.
In a farewell message from the 21-year-old on social media, he said, “Dear Foxes, thank you to the club and Khun Top for having allowed me to play for this badge.
“I want to thank also my team-mates, managers, fans and everyone who belongs to the club for everything the past 12 months. I wish you nothing but the best. This place will forever be a part of my story.”
Commenting on the message, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku said the Moroccan youngster will be missed.
“We’ll miss you, Billy,” Issahaku said.
Issahaku, who remains at Leicester City despite interest from top clubs in Europe, is expected to play a key role for the Foxes in their quest to regain promotion to the Premier League.
