American midfielder with Ghanaian roots, Yunus Musah, is on the verge of joining Italian outfit Atalanta BC on loan from fellow Serie A club, AC Milan.
According to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached between the two clubs to pave the way for the loan move to happen.
In a post on social media, Romano noted that although there is an option to buy in the proposed deal, it is not mandatory.
“Yunus Musah to Atalanta, here we go! Deal verbally agreed with AC Milan for loan with option to buy not mandatory.
“Total package worth â¬25m between loan fee and potential future buy. Musah will sign new deal at Milan before going out on loan,” Fabrizio Romano said in his post on X.

The midfielder made 33 appearances for Milan last season but struggled to establish himself as a consistent starter.
A move back to Atalanta would offer Musah a fresh start and the opportunity to gain more playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States.
