
Ghanaian defender Nana Kwame Boakye has penned an emotional message to Moldovan club Sheriff Tiraspol following his move to SK Brann in Norway.
Kwame Boakye inked a four-year deal to join the Norwegian outfit in the summer transfer window, bring an end to a successful 9-month spell, where he established himself as a pivotal member of Sheriff Tiraspol.
The 19-year-old centre-back 43 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals and delivering two assists before joining Brann.
"Working with you was such an amazing feeling, you made me feel at home with all the laughter, joy, smiles and most importantly the team work. You all were not just team mates to me but family, thank you for believing in me and giving me a chance with the team. I will always be grateful. Wishing you all the best," he wrote on Instagram.
Boakye also shared excitement after sealing his move to SK Brann.
"Words cannot express how joyful I am to be part of this amazing team and I want to assure you that I will give my all in all to the progress of the team and to follow all rules and regulations ruled out by the team and to be friendly and homely to all team members thank you," he wrote.
