Ghana forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has expressed excitement after leading Leicester City to victory in the English Championship game against Birmingham City on Friday evening.
The 21-year-old scored for the second game running as Leicester defeated Birmingham City 2-0 to make it back-to-back wins.
Issahaku also netted the winner in the 1-0 victory at the Valley against Charlton Athletic last Saturday, his first following an eight-month injury absence.
"It's just all about the team and how we support each other and I am just happy and we look forward after the break and we go again," he said.
"I just want to say thank you to the medical team, they do it all and all the team, the support from the team and my teammates. It's just a blessing to be back like this and running again and I must say it is a good feeling," he added.
The former Sporting Lisbon player was replaced in the 88th minute after appearing to struggle with a knock, but Issahaku insists he went down to cramps in his thighs.
"It's just cramps, tired, match fitness, match fitness but getting there," said the winger.
Issahaku will miss Ghana's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali after he was left out of coach Otto Addo's team for precautionary reasons.
