Jonah Kusi-Asare’s future at Bayern Munich has taken an unexpected turn as the teenager finds himself linked with a loan move in the final days of the transfer window.
The Swedish-Ghanaian striker, just 18, was initially set to stay in the squad this season as backup to Harry Kane.
But Bayern’s pursuit of Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson has changed the outlook. With another big signing on the way, the club and Kusi-Asare’s camp are now considering options that would allow the youngster more playing time elsewhere. A loan has become a real possibility, giving him the chance to grow away from the pressure of the Allianz Arena.
Interest is already strong. According to reports, Slavia Prague and PSV Eindhoven have shown concrete intent, while Bundesliga side Werder Bremen are also weighing up a move. Bremen, who are keen to add depth to their attack, view Kusi-Asare as a promising option.
For now, nothing is sealed. As the deadline ticks closer, the striker waits to see whether Munich will open the door to a new adventure.
