German-Ghanaian striker Ragnar Ache has made his return to full training with FC Köln, showing the determination that has defined his career.
The 27-year-old striker, who only joined the club this summer on a contract running until 2029, is already winning admiration for his resilience.
Ragnar Ache suffered a deep cut above his right knee during Köln’s Bundesliga opener against Mainz, a game his side lost 2-1. The injury forced him out of group sessions and into an individual program designed by the club’s medical team. For several days, he worked quietly on the sidelines, focused on recovery and staying close to fitness.
On Wednesday, Ragnar Ache was seen training alone at the club’s grounds. Just a day later, he joined his teammates once again, marking an important step in his return.
It is still unclear whether he will be fit enough for Köln’s home clash against SC Freiburg on Sunday evening.
