
Ghana international Baba Abdul Rahman has helped PAOK FC to secure qualification to the group stage of the 2025/26 Europa League.
The full-back was in action for the Greek outfit on Thursday evening, lasting the entire duration of their second-leg clash against Rijeka in the final qualification round.
In the game played at Toumba Stadium, Baba Rahman was strong at the back and key whenever he joined the team’s attack, as PAOK secured a massive 5-0 victory at the end of the contest.
The Greek side led by two goals at halftime thanks to strikes from Soualiho Meita and Giannis Konstantelias.
After recess, PAOK continued to cause havoc, adding three goals through equalisers from Fedor Chalov, Georgios Giakoumakis, and Dimitrios Pelkas.
The big win means PAOK have overcome Rijeka 5-1 on aggregate to book their place in the group stage of the 2025/26 Europa League campaign.
Baba Rahman, 31, remains a key player for the side and will be playing an important role for the side throughout the new football season.
