
Bibiani Gold Stars striker Ronald Frimpong is upbeat ahead of his team’s encounter against Asante Kotoko in the 2025 Champion of Champions.
Speaking ahead of the top clash this weekend, Frimpong shared his optimism about the chances of Gold Stars beating the opponent to clinch the trophy.
"As league champions, we have intensified preparations for the Champion of Champions clash against Kotoko. It is a big game, but Gold Stars will carry the day,” the striker told the GFA Media Team in an interview.
The 2025 Champion of Champions showdown is scheduled to be played on Sunday, August 31.
The highly anticipated fixture will kick off at 3 pm at Duns Park.
Gold Stars head into the match fresh off winning the 2025 GHALCA Top 4 tournament.
As defending champions of the Ghana Premier League and having beaten Kotoko in the GHALCA Top 4, Gold Stars are favourites to win the Champions of Champions clash as well.
